Photo Monitoring

Climate Change and Citizen Science Along the Bigfoot Trail

This project is establishing a series of six citizen-maintained photographic plots along the trail to establish a baseline for monitoring climate change, create a citizen science experience for trail users, and develop a deeper sense of place for wildland recreators in the Klamath Mountains.

Highpoints along the BFT in each of the six wilderness areas.
Highpoints along the BFT in each of the six wilderness areas will be photo-monitoring plots for a citizen science and climate change study.

Download the KMZ File to locate the photo-monitoring plots.
