In its first year, the KMWTN is conducting three skills-training workshops as an introduction to watershed restoration, trail maintenance, geographic information systems (GIS), and native and invasive plants. Equipment is provided and a travel expense reimbursement and generous stipend are available to participants. Registration capacity is limited; participants able to attend all three workshops receive priority enrollment.
