Yolla Bolly-Middle Eel Wilderness

Ides Cove to FS 30
Mileage: 33.6
Resupply: none

This section of trail is mostly in the North Coast Range, and not the Klamath Mountains. The section is characterized by a long undulating ridge walk with spectacular views into the Central Valley, the headwaters of the Eel River, and then the headwaters of the Trinity River. Unique conifers include a snapshot of the Great Basin when western junipers decorate the dry ridge lines for several miles in the heart of the wilderness.
